About the Craft

Puff tilla is tilla work raised over padding, so the metallic motifs stand slightly proud of the fabric.

Gold puff tilla is worked in raised metallic thread across the full yoke and shoulders in a dense floral vine and lotus design, then repeated as a slim border on the cuffs and as individual butis scattered across the salwar.

Each piece is made with custom work, so there may be subtle differences from one piece to the next.
