A straight linen satin kurta and salwar with a V-neckline, embroidered from neckline to hem in dull-gold tilla, paired with a dupatta bordered in the same work.

All-Over Coverage — Dense embroidery runs across the entire kurta front, back and sleeves.
Paisley and Floral Motifs — Kalka paisley, floral vine, buti, and a tulip-form medallion fill the surface.
Organza Dupatta — Sheer organza with an embroidered border; included with the set.

Jewellery: The V-neckline and embroidered chest panel call for earrings only — gold jhumkas or kundan drops read cleanly against the dull-gold thread without filling the neckline.
Dupatta Drape: Lay the organza dupatta over both shoulders so the embroidered border falls evenly on each side and stays visible rather than doubling behind you.
Side Slit: The hem slit is visible in motion, so a fitted salwar keeps the silhouette composed rather than widening the lower half against the straight kurta line.

About the Craft

Tilla is a Kashmiri technique in which fine metallic thread is laid on the surface of the fabric and couched down by a second thread, so the metal sits raised and catches the light. Here it’s worked in dull gold across the whole kurta: large kalka paisleys, floral vines and tulip medallions run from the neckline to the hem and continue down the sleeves, and the paisley border repeats along the dupatta.

Each piece is made with custom work, so there may be subtle differences from one piece to the next.
